The Vietnamese delegation has arrived

The friends from Vietnam landed in Germany on Monday.

The joy on both sides is great: on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the town partnership Hoi An - Wernigerode, an eight-strong delegation and a group of artists from Hoi An arrived in Wernigerode on Monday. The guests were welcomed by the Lord Mayor, representatives of the city administration and by the members of the Wernigerode Intercultural Network.

During a first tour of the city and an evening together, everyone got to know each other better. Mr. Son, the mayor of Hoi An found moving words: "Here in Wernigerode we fall into the arms of our friends."

In addition to a supporting program, work talks on various topics are on the partners' agenda. The highlight, however, will be the 3^rd Lantern Festival in the city centre. Mayor Tobias Kascha invites all Wernigerode residents to an unforgettable weekend.
