Hội An is recognized as a land of peaceful convergence. It has drawn foreign merchants to trade and settle permanently in past centuries. Recently, Hội An has attracted many artists and creative experts in various fields to gather and create a different look for “Hội An Creative House” - a UNESCO Creative City.

Jeonggwan Junior Choir has grown as one of the best choirs in Busan. It is made up of student members aged 10 to 15 living within the municipality of Jeonggwan, Busan, Korea. Since its founding in 2014, they have participated in various Korean festivals and competitions, as well as tours in many countries including Romania, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Taiwan, China, Japan and Vietnam.

This year, the choir will perform in the picturesque city of Hội An, Vietnam for tourists and the public at 7 p.m on July 13, 2024 in Hội An Park Hall (02 Trần Hưng Đạo street); and at 7 p.m on July 14, 2024 at 106 Bạch Đằng street (the ancient town). During two nights of concerts, the choir will perform traditional and contemporary folk songs, as well as Korean and international pop music, promising to bring audiences a variety of emotional levels. This once again confirms the attraction of this city. Also, it demonstrates that Hội An fosters international exchange and promotes creative cultural values.

Currently, the City is concentrating on building “Hội An - A Creative City”, focusing on expanding exchanges and cooperation in cultural fields towards sustainable development. As a result, these children's choir concerts aim to create a useful and practical playground for children to interact, exchange folk arts experiences, and experience cultural and artistic values, thereby cultivating creative values for future generations. Furthermore, through the concerts, Hội An's cultural beauty is spread to many places, and vice versa, Hội An has the opportunity to absorb the essence of other creative cultures to supplement, harmoniously adapt, and create a colorful cultural picture in Hội An.
