Hoi An city held a ceremony to receive the award for Tra Que vegetable village as the "Best Tourism Village of 2024," granted by the United Nations Tourism Organization.
Additionally, the city welcomed a delegation of ambassadors and representatives of Swiss development cooperation for a visit and discussion on the "Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development in Vietnam" project.
Furthermore, Hoi An implemented a plan to restructure and develop a new sightseeing route in the core area of Bay Mau coconut forest in Cam Thanh commune.
The city also approved a list of tasks for the "Hoi An Tourism Development Plan until 2025, with an Orientation to 2030" and the "Green Tourism Development Plan for 2025." Efforts continue to finalize the nomination dossier for Cham Islands to be recognized as a national tourism site.
