In 2025, the city of Hội An will host numerous large-scale events and festivals. Not only are there traditional cultural and tourism festivals, but there are also exciting modern international events.
According to official information from the Organizing Committee, a series of events will take place continually throughout 2025. The first events are the “Hội An New Year Festival 2025” (December 24, 2024 - January 1, 2025) and the Lunar New Year Festival (January 21 - February 7, 2025). They promise to offer culturally rich programs and activities for both locals and tourists to enjoy during the spring and New Year season in Hội An.
An Bàng and Cửa Đại beaches will enter a truly vibrant summer with the first International Jet Ski Race in May 2025 in Hội An city.
Miss Silk Heritage Vietnam will be hosted in Hội An city from June 10 to 30. The Beach Festival “Hội An - Summer Emotions 2025” from May to July 2025 will bring a fun, bustling and vibrant summer.
Also, the 4th “Essence of Hội An Craftsmanship” 2025 will be held in September 2025.
The 8th Vietnam International Choir Competition, held in Hội An from April 9 to 13, features talented choirs from many countries around the world, presenting exciting competitions and outstanding artistic performances.
The 21st “Hội An-Japan Cultural Exchange” from August 1 to 3 is a must-attend annual event that strengthens the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan, as well as between Hội An and Japanese cities and prefectures.
In particular, the Hội An International Lantern Festival 2025 will take place from August 21 to 24, featuring the Creative Lantern Design Competition, the Lantern Exhibition Space from different countries, the Lantern-related Fashion Show, etc. Hội An Ancient Town will be more sparkling and magical on this occasion.
A series of other events such as Cẩm Nam Sticky Corn Festival, “Chàm Islands - Firmiana simplex flowers season” Festival 2025, Death anniversary of Thanh Hà pottery village's founder, “Going to the field” Festival, and many other traditional festivals promise to make Hội An a city of events and attract tourists.
