Hội An attended the Creative Cities Sub-Network Meeting in Saudi Arabia

From February 5 to 7, 2025, Hội An participated in the Creative Cities Sub-Network Meeting on Crafts and Folk art in Al-Ahsa city, Saudi Arabia.

The Annual Meeting took place in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia from February 5 to 7, 2025.

At the meeting, creative cities shared their experiences on the theme of “Protect Artists and Culture at Risk by Creating an Ecosystem for Culture”; also discussed educational practices and experiences, methods of organizing exhibition spaces for craft products, galleries, museums, important contents of the field of crafts and folk arts; etc.

This meeting brought together cities from Saudi Arabia, the United States, Kenya, Iran, Scotland, Portugal, South Korea, the Philippines, Hội An - Vietnam, Nigeria, Estonia, Ecuador, etc. to discuss, learn and share experiences in various creative fields. Thereby, Hội An city continues to seek new methods for implementing significant content and categories in the creative cultural industry.
