Hong Kong newspaper South China Morning Post has listed Hoi An as a choice of nine summer vacation spots due to its ideal mix of shopping, sightseeing, and sun-soaked relaxation.
The list includes city destinations with beaches that offer excellent opportunities for shopping, sightseeing, sunbathing, museum visits, beach enjoyment, and water activities, in addition to a wide range of dining and nightlife choices.

Hoi An in Quang Nam Province, with a population of approximately 120,000 residents, is acclaimed by travelers for its photogenic character.
The city's French colonial architecture, intricate temples, and the Japanese Bridge captivate international visitors. These unique features helped Hoi An receive UNESCO World Heritage recognition in 1999.
Besides the coastal landscapes, many travelers prefer beachside accommodation. An Bang beach, with its soft sands and clear blue waters, once earned a spot on CNN's list of the world's top 100 beaches and is just 3 kilometers from Hoi An.
The other destinations on the SCMP list are Sydney (Australia), Miami (U.S.), Sanya (China), Athens (Greece), Barcelona (Spain), Brighton (England), Mumbai (India), and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
